Salman Khan is magic and anything he does is magical and works tricks on the minds of the viewers. This is what we get to see in his movie Hero.
Starring two star kids Athiya Shetty daughter of Suneil Shetty and Sooraj Panscholi son of Aditya Panscholi, the movie is a remake of yesteryears hit Hero starring Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Seshadri. It was a launchpad for Jackie and it would be the same for Sooraj.
The movie is about how the daughter of the Chief of Police gets kidnapped by a gangster and how they eventually fall in love and he decides to release her finally. The daughter is Athiya and Sooraj plays the gangster. Obviously they are faced with the challenge of being compared with the originals but they have really done a good job. The movie is a complete masala mix of emotions and amazing acting by the newcomers. The promising stars have done their best and Salman’s backing shows.
The climax of the movie is interesting and one only comes back feeling they have watched a completely new movie and the original still retains its individuality. That is the charm of the new release. We give it a four out of five stars.
Certainly a movie to watch with family and something to look out for with the new generation.
